Writing can be scary. Even the thought of attempting to string together words and pretending to call it literature can make you queasy. People will always question if they are good enough, not just for their readers, but also themselves. Not everyone is a Rowling and people remember this painful lesson often. But, let's say you're a person who doesn't like to listen to their conscience? What if you ignore your doubts and begin typing a story for all to read?
First off, awesome! I certainly want to read it~ Secondly, there are some things we want to cover about writing your literary masterpiece on here.
I. Rating your story, saying the genre and putting warnings is important.I don't know your personal preference, but I don't want to be drawn in by a funny title and end up reading a depressing story with M-rated content. So, please, before you type the actual story, tell us any possible trigger warnings like crime (a term used loosely here, so be more specific) and gore so that we can choose which stories to read.
II. Don't use characters without permission. If no one said you could write their character, don't do it unless you get permission. Breaking this rule holds severe consequences because of copyright and plagiarism.
III. Approach everything else carefully.Do NOT use your writing to belittle another or to complain about your life. If diversity is being used, do not have it portrayed in an offensive way. Please don't plague us with Mary Sue stories, either. No discrimination expressed through the written word is permitted as well. Keep OC characters in character, please! Write with proper spelling and grammar if possible. And...
HAVE FUN!
Writing is an adventure, so make the most out of it!

P.S. More rules are to be added and these rules will be clarified in the near future.
