I. No Offensive OCs: No characters that are deliberately made to offend (religious affiliating, racism, etc). That will not be tolerated.
II. No Disney OCs: Pretty self-explanatory. Please no "daughter of Elsa from Frozen" or "Son of Iago from Aladdin".
III. No Parody OCs: There is another website/forum for that kind of thing. This isn't it.
IV. No OCs of pre-existing fairytales (canons): No OCs of fairytales from already existing characters (Ashlynn Ella daughter of Cinderella, Alistair Son of Alice). However you can make an OC affiliated with their fairytale. An example would be a daughter of one of the Twelve Dancing Princesses or son of a JabberWocky (you get the idea).
V. No OCs of Gods or Deities: Mythology OCs are allowed though (hey if Cupid is allowed to attend Ever After why can't other mythos as well!?). Just please, no overpowering characters that can hurl universes at other people!
VI. Have fun! Be creative! Feel free to use OCs from different folklores all around the world! Diversity is fun and exciting and gives you the chance to explore another culture. Obsucre OCs are encouraged even but don't worry too much about it. Just have fun and make a character you can be proud of!
Just to add to the list, no OC is better than the other. It is what you personally think makes a great OC! This is not a competitive sport. This is not a place to "outdo" anyone or "whose OC gets the most attention". No. This is a haven for creative souls who are fans of EAH and want to incorporate their own characters into that world! So please, enjoy yourself here.
